The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) has published its Annual Activity Report 2025, providing an overview of the achievements, activities and progress of the partnership in supporting Europe’s transition towards a sustainable and circular bio-based economy. The report presents key developments from across the CBE JU community, including the progress of funded research and innovation projects that are contributing to the development of sustainable bio-based solutions, industrial competitiveness and circular value chains in Europe.
As a CBE JU-funded project, CIRCLE is part of this growing European innovation ecosystem, working towards the demonstration of a circular biorefinery concept that transforms food waste streams and other biomass resources into valuable bio-based chemicals and materials.
The publication of the CBE JU Annual Activity Report 2025 provides an opportunity to reflect on the collective efforts of projects, partners and stakeholders working together to accelerate the deployment of circular bio-based technologies.
