CIRCLE was showcased at the “Untapping the potential of bio-waste” Webinar

This webinar held on 5 November 2024 was jointly organised by the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) and Zero Waste Europe (ZWE). The webinar launched the 2nd edition paper on bio-waste collection in the 27 EU Member States (plus Norway and the UK), describing the findings – which include the fact that 75% of the bio-waste is ending up in landfills or incinerated, instead of being valorised.

Amir Oranim, CIRCLE coordinator, presented the problems that TripleW’s technology addresses and, as part of the presentation, described the CIRCLE consortium and the flagship project, explaining the complete value chain from feedstock to application, and the superior value of food waste when being treated with TripleW technology.
